The Kissimmee Fire Department will host a free Car Seat Check-Up Event on Tuesday, September 10, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Fire Station 12 on Denn John Lane. Certified safety technicians will inspect car seats, ensure proper installation, and share valuable safety tips with parents and caregivers. Families can stop by anytime during the event without an appointment, and a limited number of free car seats, provided by Walmart, will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Fire Chief Jim Walls and his team—known for their dedication to community service—see this as more than a safety check; it’s a chance to connect with residents and ensure local children are as safe as possible on the road. The department encourages everyone in the community to take advantage of this opportunity for expert guidance and peace of mind.
