Rules & Terms

We do not require a press kit to be sent with your submission until official selections are announced. If your film is selected, we will then request necessary materials.

Your entry through filmfreeway.com authorizes us to show clips on television for marketing and/or news programs.

**NOTE TO STUDENTS** YOU MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WITH YOUR ONLINE SUBMISSION:

-Name of school & city;

-School contact;

We will only notify you if accepted, but if at any time you want to inquire about the status of your film, please email [email protected]. You must indicate the FilmFreeway #, the category and the title of your film in order for us to assist.

Terms & Conditions:

By submitting your film through FilmFreeway.com, you authorize the Hollywood Florida Film Festival (HFFF) to use clips from your work for television marketing and/or news coverage.

If selected, you grant HFFF the right to:

-Screen your film during the festival.

-Screen your film again if it wins an award or is chosen for future outreach screenings at HFFF-selected venues within the same calendar year, as well as up to one (1) year following the selection year.

Once a film has been officially selected, it cannot be withdrawn by the filmmaker, unless approved by HFFF.

By submitting, you grant HFFF the right to use excerpts from any accepted film for promotional purposes. The individual or entity submitting the film warrants that they have full authority to commit the film for screening and agree to these requirements and regulations.

The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Hollywood Florida Film Festival LLC, along with its successors, founders, employees, and volunteers, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including, but not limited to, attorney’s fees and court costs) arising from any claim related to copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, or the loss of/damage to submitted screening materials.
